super ace gcash login The Toronto Raptor’s record for the 2024-25 NBA season hasn’t been great. Toronto is currently 7-22 in the Eastern Conference. Despite the record, there are players from the Raptors playing well this season. Here are the three players who are playing well in no particular order. Gradey Dick It’s safe to say that last season was not a great start for Gradey Dick ’s career. But this season, it’s a different story. He’s killing it so far this season. There’s been a significant improvement from where he was last year to this year. Dick is currently averaging 18.3 points per game, 3.4 rebounds per game, and 2.1 assists per game. Compare that to his stats last season where he averaged 8.5 points per game, 2.2 rebounds per game, and 1.1 assists per game, it clearly shows his improvement. He’s scoring 10 more points this year than last year. Dick had a bad start in his rookie year. But he slowly turned it around. Part of his growth is because Toronto decided to rebuild the team. He has more room to grow now that the Raptors traded Pascal Siakam and OG Anunoby . Now Dick is the starting shooting guard for the Raptors. Here’s an example of how well Dick is playing this season. He scored 32 points, five rebounds, and three assists in a loss against the Milwaukee Bucks. Despite the loss, it was a good night for Dick because his 32 points in this game was a new career high for him. RJ Barrett Another player that’s having a career year is the hometown boy RJ Barrett. He’s currently averaging 23.2 points per game, 6.8 rebounds per game, and six assists per game. He’s been good before he was a Raptor. But ever since he was traded to Toronto from the New York Knicks, he’s been on another level. He’s more consistent as a Raptor than he was a Knick. During his time in New York, he averaged 18.1 points per game, 5.3 rebounds per game, and 2.8 assists per game. Now that he’s in Toronto, he’s averaging 22.5 points per game, 6.5 rebounds per game, and 4.9 assists per game. Barrett’s total field goal percentage as a Knick was 42.2 percent while his current field goal percentage as a Raptor is 50.6 percent. His three-point field goal percentage is also up from his time with the Knicks. On Nov. 18 The Raptors beat the Indiana Pacers 130-119. The star of the night was Barrett. He finished the game with 39 points, 15 rebounds and two assists. This is so far his season high in points. Jakob Poeltl It’s a career year for Jakob Poeltl . He’s averaging 15.5 points per game, 11 rebounds per game, and 2,7 assists per game. Poeltl’s points and rebound averages are a career-high for him. If the Raptors decide to trade him before the trade deadline, they will get a good return on assets because of how well he’s playing this year. But let’s talk about the Poeltl trade talks at another time. Let’s go back to how well he’s playing. In a regular season on Nov. 16 against the Boston Celtics, Poeltl finished the game with 35 points and 12 rebounds. The Raptors lost that game in overtime due to Jayson Tatum ’s game-winner. Nevertheless, Poeltl’s effort was why Toronto led most of the game until Boston’s comeback. These are the top three players on the Raptors’ roster. Hopefully, Barrett, Poeltl, and Dick can play the same they’ve been playing right now for the rest of the season. Toronto isn’t going to be a playoff contender this season but the future is bright for the Raptors with these three players and Scottie Barnes on this team. Kavena Shipanga: Namibia’s political landscape: A triumph of stability over opposition discordTeddy Bridgewater is making a surprising return to the NFL, rejoining the Detroit Lions after a brief retirement. Lions head coach Dan Campbell confirmed the news on Thursday, highlighting the veteran quarterback’s professionalism and experience as key reasons for his return. Bridgewater, 32, last played for the Lions in 2023 and had recently been coaching high school football, where he led Miami Northwestern to a state championship in his first season. ET Year-end Special Reads Corporate Kalesh: Top family disputes of India Inc in 2024 The world of business lost these eminent people in 2024 Fast, faster, fastest: How 2024 put more speed into your shopping The Detroit Lions are gearing up for a playoff run, and Bridgewater’s return comes at a crucial time. Campbell emphasized that Bridgewater’s familiarity with the team and his veteran presence are assets as the Lions navigate a season filled with injuries. With 21 players currently on injured reserve, including several key contributors, the Lions are strengthening their roster to be ready for any scenario in the postseason. Campbell addressed questions about what this move means for second-year quarterback Hendon Hooker, stating, “This doesn’t mean we’re disappointed in Hooker. The playoffs are a different world, and we want to have depth.” Jared Goff remains the starter, with Bridgewater stepping in to provide additional security alongside Hooker and practice squad QB Jake Fromm. Bridgewater Brings Leadership On and Off the Field Bridgewater’s return is not just about his skills as a quarterback. Campbell praised his leadership and the respect he commands in the locker room. “Teddy is the type of human being and player that makes everyone around him better,” Campbell said. The Lions value his ability to step in as a reliable emergency option while also uplifting the team through his experience and character. Bridgewater’s career includes stints with the Vikings, Saints, Panthers, Broncos, and Dolphins. A first-round pick in 2014, he has a 33-32 career record as a starter, with 15,120 passing yards, 75 touchdowns, and 47 interceptions. Though he only appeared in one game for the Lions last season without recording a pass attempt, his extensive NFL experience makes him a valuable addition for the playoff push. Lynden Breen recorded a hat trick before leaving the game after an apparent leg injury, leading fifth-ranked Maine to a 6-0 win over RPI in a Hockey East game Saturday afternoon in Troy, New York. Breen also assisted on the opening goal by Charlie Russell midway through the first period. He made it 2-0 just 25 seconds into the second period, then scored twice in a span of 1:55 early in the third. Harrison Scott and Frank Djurasevic added power-play goals later in the third, and Albin Boija finished with 16 saves for his third shutout of the season as Maine improved to 9-2-2. RPI is 5-5-1. STATE COLLEGE – Another game, another couple of records for Penn State star tight end Tyler Warren. The No. 4 Nittany Lions lead Maryland 31-7 at halftime on Saturday at Beaver Stadium.A melee broke out at midfield of Ohio Stadium after Michigan upset No. 2 Ohio State 13-10 on Saturday. After the Wolverines' fourth straight win in the series, players converged at the block "O" to plant its flag. The Ohio State players were in the south end zone singing their alma mater in front of the student section. When the Buckeyes saw the Wolverines' flag, they rushed toward the 50-yard line. Social media posts showed Michigan offensive lineman Raheem Anderson carrying the flag on a long pole to midfield, where the Wolverines were met by dozens of Ohio State players and fights broke out. Buckeyes defensive end Jack Sawyer was seen ripping the flag off the pole and taking the flag as he scuffled with several people trying to recover the flag. A statement from the Ohio State Police Department read: "Following the game, officers from multiple law enforcement agencies assisted in breaking up an on-field altercation. During the scuffle, multiple officers representing Ohio and Michigan deployed pepper spray. OSUPD is the lead agency for games and will continue to investigate." Michigan running back Kalel Mullings on FOX said: "For such a great game, you hate to see stuff like that after the game. It's bad for the sport, bad for college football. At the end of the day, some people got to learn how to lose, man. "You can't be fighting and stuff just because you lost the game. We had 60 minutes and four quarters to do all that fighting. Now people want to talk and fight. That's wrong. It's bad for the game. Classless, in my opinion. People got to be better." Once order was restored, officers cordoned the 50-yard line, using bicycles as barriers. Ohio State coach Ryan Day in his postgame press conference said he wasn't sure what happened. "I don't know all the details of it. But I know that these guys are looking to put a flag on our field and our guys weren't going to let that happen," he said. "I'll find out exactly what happened, but this is our field and certainly we're embarrassed at the fact we lost the game, but there's some prideful guys on our team that weren't just going to let that happen." The Big Ten has not yet released a statement on the incident. --Field Level Media
